Dominique Filion wins Intermediaire I

This morning Dominique Filion won the Intermediaire I with the 8-year-old Fidertanz offspring, Frida K. The pair won with a convincing lead with 74,000%.

Filion referred Diederik van Silfhout to second place with the 7-year-old KWPN member Impression (Don Schufro). Van Silfhout collected 71.971% in this 4 * category. Larissa Pauluis finished the stage for her own audience.

Pauluis followed in third place with the 8-year-old First-Step Valentin (Vitalis). The home duo received 71,441% from the jury. Inge Heylen also achieved more than 70%. Together with Kalagan ‘H’ (Universal) the Belgian collected 70.588%, good for sixth place.

Spencer Wilton regeert CDI4* Grand Prix

The day ended yesterday with a rider party and before that the handsome 4 * Grand Prix. Spencer Wilton held back the competition with Super Nova II (De Niro). Yet the biggest surprise was Adelinde Cornelissen who started Aqiedo (Undigo). Originally, Cornrelissen had announced that it would take Aqiedo again for the first time at Indoor Brabant, but that return took place a little earlier.

For Wilton and seventeen-year-old Super Nova it was the second time in the ring after a long competition break. The duo won with 75.761% and kept countryman Sonnar Murray Brown behind with Erlentanz (Latimer). Brown drove to a total of 74.174%.

Cornelissen and Aqiedo came back to the CDI in Lier yesterday for the first time since last February and finished in third place with 73%.

Kebie Raaijmakers wins again

Kebie Raaijmakers put things in order in the Individual Children Test yesterday. The young rider sent her Happy Feet to the overall victory with 78.535%. Earlier this week, she already won the introductory test on Wednesday with the Tuschinksi descendant.

The stage in this test turned completely orange. Thursday’s winner, Veerle Van Hof followed in second place with Don Diablo (Westpoint). The performance of the duo was rewarded with 75.130%.

Countrywoman Maura Knipscheer received 75.065% for her test with Amaretto (Krack C) and thus completed the podium. Max Van Durne followed in fourth place for his own audience. Van Durne rode with Dijon to a nice score of 72.737%.

In the U25 Grand Prix, Ann-Kathrin Lindner kept the competition behind with Sunfire 16 (San Amour I). The pair was the only one to go above 70%. With 72.718%, the duo was well ahead of their compatriot Sophie Reef with Charming Lady. The German sent her Painted Black offspring to second place with 69.974%. Skylar Bos completed the podium with Choice Finch (Voice). Bos collected 68.653% and thus stayed ahead of local rider Lore Vandeborne with Ikke-Pia vd Berghoevev (San Amour). The Belgian rider received 68.077% of the final result.

Sophia Boje Obel Jorgensen convincing to victory

This morning the pony combinations were the first to start. Sophia Boje Obel Jorgensen crazy for the overall victory. Together with Adriano B (De Angelo B), the Danish jury impressed with a total score of 74.955%.

The pair scored with a strong test in which they especially scored high on components such as the step. The test gave the combination a lead of more than 2% on the Dutch rider Evi Van Rooij with the 11-year-old King Stayerhof’s Jango (Kosmo van Orchid’s).

Van Rooij sent her NRPS employee to 72.523% with a nice full-bodied and handsome trot work. The stage was finished by Clara Paschertz with Da Capo’s Dancing Boy. Together with the Da Capo descendant, the German rode to a total of 72.388%.

Diederik van Silfhout wins CDI4* Small Tour Prix St. Georges

Dressage at top level, that showed the CDI4 * Small Tour Prix St. Georges. The opinions of the jury members were scattered and the top performed evenly. Afterwards, Diederik van Silfhout appeared to have left the strongest impression. Van Silfhout won with Impression (Don Schufro) with 72.588% yesterday.

Two of the five jury members placed the duo in the lead. The pair scored sevens and eights and only showed a weak moment in the points. There was strong driving in this PSG with Tommie Visser in second place with Genesis Begijnhoeve (Jazz). Visser scored 71.824% and showed from the start that he was keen on a strong performance.

Dominique Filion followed with 71.412% in third place with the 8-year-old Fidertanz offspring, Frida K. The couple stayed at home, Jorinde Verwimp with Golddream vd Kempenhoeve (Caprilli van de Kempenhoeve). Verwimp rode a constant test which resulted in 70.853%.

Thalia Rockx followed with Gerda Nova (Romanov) in fifth place with 70.676% for Larissa Pauluis with Firs-Step Valentin (Vitalis), accounting for 70.559%.

Helen Erbe wins Young Rider test

Helen Erbe has continued her success series today. In the Young Rider individual test the German rode with Fürst Kaspar (Fürst Picollo) to a unanimous victory with 73.529%. The combination convinced with a technical implementation that again included. the flying changes in the taste were appreciated by the jury.

The only combination remained above 73%. With over one and a half percent the Dutch Thalia Rockx followed with Golden Dancer de la Fazenda (Bretton Woods). The combination drove to 72.059% after a strong regular performance where it only went wrong in the collected trot.

Thalia Rockx followed in a nice second place with 71.175%. Linda Erbe completed the podium with DSP Fierro (Fürst Wettin) with 71.853%.

Interactive clinic with Stephan Buitenbos and Barbara Boot

When jury members start judging a freestyle on music, they have to deal with much more than just judging the harmony between horse and rider. The assessment of music also plays an enormous role during the freestyle and therefore requires a separate assessment. Stephan Buitenbos and Barbara Boot specializes in making music for under a kür and gives an interactive clinic on Sunday in which he will give jury members tips to help them evaluate music better.

Harmony
At the start of the clinic the jury members will judge a sample kür which they will reassess with the new tips after the clinic. During the clinic, three main topics will be worked on, the first of which will be the choice of music. The choice of music contributes enormously to the entire harmony and must therefore suit both the test and the horse.

Tempo
Next, Stephan and Barbara will tell the jury members, but also the audience, more about how to adjust the correct structure of the music to the test and the horse. Every horse moves differently so that not every horse fits exactly to every music. The transitions and tempo of the music are also important when a horse goes to another hall or performs a certain exercise.

First place for Katelijne Maes

This morning Katelijne Maes kept the win in his own country during the individual Junior class. Together with Ibou van de Kapelhoef (Lord Loxley) she showed a regular test with a beautiful execution of the shoulder inwards and half pirouette.

With a total of 71.765% the duo stayed ahead of fellow countryman Karoline Sofie Vestergaard with Junior Hit (Sandro Hit). The Belgian was placed on one by one of the three jury members. With 70.411%, the duo was just ahead of Pem Verbeek with Fernando Torres (Florencio 2).

The Belgian Jette de Jong also drove to 70%. Together with Heavenly Charming (Charmeur) de Jong rode to fourth place.

Clinic with Tineke Bartels during CDI4* Lier

Apart from the great competition program that CDI4 * Lier has to offer from 26 February to 1 March, there is also a clinic with no one less than Tineke Bartels on the program. Tineke’s clinics are not only known for her professional vision, but also for her dose of humor. With the theme “from international pony rider to Grand Prix rider” it promises to be a clinic that both younger and older horse lovers should not miss.

Learn to ride a horse more consciously
The exclusive clinic of Tineke Bartels will take place on Saturday 29 February from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. During this hour, four riders will appear in the track, each of which will deal with a different part of the training of a sport horse for 15 minutes with Tineke. Despite the different levels that are on offer, the red line of the clinic will be how you can learn to ride more consciously as a rider and how a horse learns.

Start at the basics
The clinic will start with a pony rider. Focused on awareness, we look at how better communication can arise between the pony and rider and how you can sit as independently as possible. Then the pony rider is alternated by a Junior rider who is already one step further in the training of the horse. This combination will work on one of the most important steps aimed at top sport, namely the basis of the horse.

On to the higher work
The last half hour of the clinic, Tineke starts working with both a Young Rider rider and a GP / U25 rider. With the Young Rider the focus will be on how you can ride to a better collection and creation. When this is done, work can be done on, for example, riding a work pirouette and apartments. The GP / U25 rider will go a step further into the collection and work towards the piaffe and passage.

In short, a clinic where visitors receive a wealth of information in an hour that is relevant to everyone and indispensable when training a horse.
