Big international names on starting order CDI Lier

That the popularity of CDI Lier is increasing is evident from the number of participants from not only Belgium, but also surrounding countries. For example, 18 different nationalities appear in the ring this year. But not only is the organization of CDI Lier proud of this, they also think it is great that more and more famous riders and riders are coming to the Azelhof.

Strong field of participants
During CDI Lier, both participants and visitors are guaranteed of the best of high level dressage. The participants travel all over the world to participate in this competition. That this is an Olympic year can be seen by the big names on the list of participants for the CDI4 * heavy tour. Many countries keep their selections and have CDI4 * Lier in their agenda. For example, on the starting list of the CDI4 * teams from Great Britain, France and Japan, Adelinde Cornelissen, Diederik van Silfhout and Marlies van Baalen are on the list for the Netherlands.

Belgium well represented
The fact that CDI Lier is a home game for Belgian participants makes it even more attractive for them to compete here. With 17 Belgian participants in the CDI4 * Small and Big Tour sections, Belgium is again well represented this edition. Well-known names on the starting list include Charlotte Defalque, Rob van Puijenbroek, Domien Michiels and Jorinde Verwimp who are back at Grand Prix level after a game break.
