Larissa Pauluis in the lead of the Belgian Grand Tour Championship
It seems to be a copy of the championship in the Grand Tour in 2021. Also now Larissa Pauluis takes the lead after the first part the Grand Prix. With First-Step Valentin she scored 75.552% today and this puts her comfortably in the lead.
Also in second place is Larissa Pauluis, this time with her Flambueau, 71.761% was the score for her Grand Prix test.
Charlotte Desfalque and Boticelli came third with a score of 70.283%. Fourth was Jorinde Verwimp and Charmer with a score of 70.152%. Fifth was Domien Michiels and Intermezzo Van Het Meerdaalhof (69.065%).
Amber Van Den Steen wins Team Test Young Riders Belgian Championship 2022.
The first part of the Belgian Championship Young Riders the Team Test of won by Amber Van Den Steen. The Belgian Champion Young Riders 2021 rode Fame to victory in the Team Test among the Young Riders today, her score today came to 73.706%.
Karoline Sofie Vestergaard and Junior Hit came second in today’s Team Test her score came to 71.853%. Also for Karoline this is the ranking where she will be in 2021 at the Belgian Championship Young Riders. A nice second place which I’m sure is a great birthday present for Karoline who turned 20 today.
The winner of the Team Test Juniors, Jette de Jong, came third with Heaney Charming in the Young Riders class with a score of 71.559%.
Friday, May 6, the Individual tests for the Belgian Championship are on the program.
Wouter D’Hoore and Jessica win second part Briljant Cup in Lier.
The second part of the Brilliant Cup, the Prix St George, was won today by Wouter D’ Hoore who rode Jessica to a winning score of 70.559%.
On the second place we see Jorinde Verwimp her score today with River Rise Benetton came to 68.559%.
Priscilla De Jong and First Time D’Enchallens came third today in the Brilliant Cup with a score of 68.529%. Fien de Wille and WinHorses Dovizioso came fourth (68.324%) and fifth was Tom Heylen and Obi Wan H (68.265%).
Jette de Jonge wins Juniors Team Test Belgian Dressage Championships 2022.
Also for the Juniors, the Belgian Dressage Championships started today. The Team Test was won today by Jette de Jong and Indini, the combination rode to a winning score of 70.879%.
In second place we see Anna Peeters and Harlekin, the combination rode a score of 69.454%.
Third place in the Team Test was for Clara Collard with Escape who rode to 69.363%. Aude Verheelde and Frappant came fourth (68.364%) and fifth was for Lana De Caluwe and Elfenranke (68.303%).
It actually went very well, the preparation was also good including the International here in Lier. It is very special to compete at a championship with a horse that we bred ourselves, you can really adjust your horse to your own hand”.
We will also see Jette de Jong in the Young Riders during the Belgian Championships.
Nico Nyssen wins first part Belgian Championship U25.
The U25 Intermediate II class has just been won by Nico Nyssen who rode the 12 year old Farrington to victory with a score of 70.647%. Laura Luyten recently made the switch to the U25 with J2I Lamborghini and rode a nice score of 70.059% which was good for second place today.
Lauranne Lammens and Hilcara Van Het Vijverbos came third with a score of 69.529% Suraya Hendrikx and Black Beuaty came fourth (68.735%) and with Dear Friend 2 she came fifth (65.735%).
Friday the 6th of May the second part of the competition is on the program for the U25 combinations.
Second victory for Tommie Visser in the Diamond Cup in Lier.
The second test of the Diamond Cup was won today by Tommie Visser, just like yesterday he rode Quinten Begijnhoeve. Today’s score was 73.818%. Partner of Tommie Rob van Puijenbroek rode Karma Begijnhoeve to 71.818% which was also good for second place today. Quinten, Kristal and Karma are own products of Rob van Puijenbroek.
On third place we see Amber van Den Steen and Handel A. Her score was 70.242%.
Tommie “Quinten is such an easy horse to ride at such a young age, but it is so easy for me to ride him. Kristal was very impressed today during the warming up by the horses that were also warming up. I had my hands full for a while, and to still be able to put down a test like that, I can only be satisfied”.
Isabel Cool wins first small tour part – PSG at Belgian Championships (photo)
The BK Dressage for Small Tour started today, the first part of the PSG was won by Isabel Cool, she rode Herr Charmeur Coolhorses to 73.676%. She also started in the small tour today with Glorius Coolhorses and the homebred mare she rode to 71.000% which was good for fifth place.
Second place was for Suraya Hendrikx with Benicia she rode to a score of 71.794%. In third place we see Cyriel De Coker who rode Jillz Urona to a score of 71.441%.
Isabel Cool “I am very pleased with my horses today, I was able to ride really nice with both my horses in the small tour. I competed three horses at the BK and also brought two training horses. It is fantastic to ride here, it is so beautifully set up. There are many tracks to ride, we can stay with the horses, there is everything for the participants.
